2X512 upgrade to 2gigs, do i lose Dual DDR feature?

Ive got 2X512 sticks of OCZ EL DDR PC-3200 Platinum Revision 2 in my rig, DFI lanparty ut nf4 mobo. If i upgrade to 2 gigs should i go for 1X1gig or 2X512mb, will it still run in dual DDR mode with either 11 or 2 extra sticks? How much of a performance impact would i get by not using ram with the same timings? Above…
