I certainly don't. Try and find his appearance on Jonathon Ross's show, quality.

    I hate him so much

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,221 ✭✭✭abetarrush

    I despise him

He tries way to hard. He's just LOUD as opposed to funny

    and he looks so creepy

    I just cant stand him

MTV fired him for a reason, so y take him back?

Even his guests on 1 Leicester Square seemed creeped out

I really love his spontaneous, unorthodox and very unique humour, it almost makes Big Brother watchable. Russell Brand for King.

This could do with a poll...

    Top class man - hilarious!

Makes that sh**e 'Big Mouth' watchable!

Well, I find him pretty cringeworthy and unfunny. Not sure what his redeeming features are, he's really rather irritating tbh.

He used to be hal-arious when he did the dance floor chart program!

    Ah he was excellent then.
I think he is still good aswell. He gets me laughing anyway.

He's a legend. Best thing about BB. Quite a gift of the gab...

........and he did have sex with Kate Moss. So... kudos just for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,413 ✭✭✭✭Basq

........and he did have sex with Kate Moss.
    Yes.. but who hasn't!?

And he did now dip his "twig and two berries" where Pete Doherty's was... so kinda takes the shine off it a bit!

I would go as far as to say I fúckin hate the guy. Cannot stand him at all. i have a gallery of things I hate on my bebo (ye'll never find it!) - guess who's top of the list?

I hear everyone saying he can be quite witty at times, but ive given him the benefit of the doubt. Watched big brothers big mouth several times, watched the Johnathon Ross interview people slobber on about, and saw him at the NME awards. Complete fúcking retard every time. Never said anything remotely funny once.

Don't get me started on the way he dresses, womens fúcking trousers ( i know a lad who does this, probably because of russel.) and **** scarves.

As for the Kate Moss incident - she has the WORST taste in men over any woman on this planet. So I do not see the argument there.

He was on the tv one day and my da came in - "Who's that perverted wanker?"

    that's good enough for me.

yeah see, he was funny then, but that was because he was so off his tits the random sh1te he came out with seemed to just be a result of drug-induced insanity. Now it all just seems a bit contrived & scripted. definitely reckon he could be a bit of a double-adaptor type. (but i do enjoy his ol' Dean Gaffney & Bepe jokes)

actually when i happened to see a quick snippet of him doing his big brother show ages ago i HATED him.....but then when i saw him on Jonathan Ross i thought he was an absolute legend. SO funny and friendly that i immediately changed my mind about him. Now i think he's great :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 237 ✭✭lukegriffen

I think he's incredible, a really interesting guy. I saw him on Ross and have never seen Ross so overwhelmed by a guest,
Re. his big brother stuff - I don't watch bb, but if he's on talking about it I'll watch his show. It's interesting that he's playing the camp card, yet I believe he's hetero. He hasn't found his niche, I think he's incredibly intellectual but he's talking about s*ite on TV.
Did anyone read the articles he wrote in the Guardian Sport section about England during the world cup ? They're the only WC articles I cut out & kept, who else described the English players after defeat as "marionettes slumped on the ground...
It'll be interesting to see what he does next.

on E4 +1 right now, for those of you still awake and vaguely interested in who he is.

Brilliant. He's like a comic mix of Kieth Richards and Michael Caine in the Italian Job.

I love his quirky unique look and his quick wittedness. The fact that he so openly flaunts his sexuality is to be applauded IMO.

Weemcd, I think you're lacking somewhat in the humour department.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,061 ✭✭✭✭Terry

    his humour isn't for everyone.
like i said earlier in this therad, i didn't like him at first. he did actually bug me. but he has now grown on me and i do find him funny.
i think the self depricating humour is something to do with it and it's something most Irish people can relate to.

Hes a legend, breath of fresh air, but he isnt for everyone.

" So I pull down my trousers,
Get my dinkle in my hands,
Tell the queen she isnt worthy to view my ballbags,
    and rush out the door,
    The swines!"

I think he is class on BBBM and 1 Leicester Square and his radio show is equally as funny.

I like the way that he doesn't mind being perceived as being homosexual ( and plays on this) even though he is a rampant hetrosexual.

Being a comedian? What's Dave Chapelle famous for?
    tries too hard

You have to try hard to get your own comedy show on TV... At least in Britain.
