    Looking to give flashing my 360 a go. Anyone know a good guide and whats the latest firware etc.? I have an Hitachi drive.

    There is a guide in PDF on line. Xbox360 flashing for noobs. Thats what I used along with youtube tutorials.

    Can the xbox be flashed with a laptop? i got an eSata port and an eSata - Sata cable?

    Maybe, it depends on the SATA controller in use by your laptop.
