May sound like a stupid question but does it matter if i dont split my workout?

I go to the gym every second day,the aim is to put on weight for rugby and so far it seems to be working (84kg to 93 in 3 weeks). And to build up my upper body, legs are fine.Im 6'3 and 93 kgs with around 18% bodyfat.

But can i get injured if i keep doin the same thing every second day which is:
    bench press,
    shoulder press,
    lat pull down,
    alternating bicep curls
    tricep kickbacks
    seated row
    upright row
    And a few others

Basically what im asking is,if i split exercises into different days will it prove to be more beneficial in the long run?(lifting heavier weights etc..)

i seriously doubt your legs are fine to be honest. unless you have been doing a leg split before this one?

Also squats realise testosterone(spelling) naturally into your body which will help you grow.

Do some deadlifts aswell. Pull ups are a must also. You could be doing a much better upper body split then that. Far too many compound excercises in there.

never heard of squats releasing testo naturally thats a new one to me. ur muscle doesnt grow when u train it grows when u rest. u damage the muscle it rebuilds.. ur not giving ur muscle enough time to recover..

To beef up your testosterone levels, the bulk of your workout should involve "compound" weight-lifting exercises that train several large muscle groups, and not just one or two smaller muscles. For example, studies have shown that doing squats, bench presses or back rows increases testosterone more than doing biceps curls or triceps pushdowns, even though the effort may seem the same. This is why doing squats could help you build bigger biceps

Did u not jus contradict urself there?

i did. I meant to write isolation, should really read over my posts before submiting them

However i didnt realise compund excercises helped with the releasing Testostrone. I just thought it was squats due to the compression of the spine. Looks like we all learned something new today. yay.

Another point to the OP i missed out on. If your training for Rugby it really is crazy to be doing no leg work at all. For rugby you need to have a strong core.
