If you were to do ab workouts and exercise to lose the belly at the same time(not simultaneously) would it work to a flat stomach/good abs?

Fat cannot be spot-reduced on the body, the whole body percentage of fat must be reduced.
I think myself that crunches are a waste of time, do a full situp on a slant board and you will work the hip flexors and obliques at the same time, be less prone to injury and it looks better too! Full situps are tough on the lower back for beginners i admit though....

Well Damage, in simple terms it would work, but it of course depends on the ab workouts you will be doing, the intensity of the cardio and so on....

I see lads and quite a few girls in the gym trying to lose the beer belly, and there they are doing hundreds of little crunches with a tiny range of motion, using that abroller thing, and they wonder why they give it all up after a couple of weeks..... :(

It can! with Lipo! but not with exercise

    To BFGOODMAN's "friend" [GFGOODMAN?]

Tell ur "friend" to keep working his abs, then change his diet, and do cardio
