I,m looking for a wifi usb 2.o card ,802.11 g .IS it worth getting 54megs/per sec cards in marx pcs , they have 2 for 50 ,or should i get 1 in peats ,or maplin,Dublin area stores. I presume netcafes use 802,b or g standard.I want to be able to use my laptop in net cafes.

You could get a pcmcia wireless card 54G easily enough and not too expensive,I dont understand the usb 2.0 part as to my knowledge there is no card that integrates usb into a wireless card. Most internet cafes will use either 801.11g or b as stated but a 54G wireless card is backwards compatible to an 11mb B connection so is the better choice for an add-in card.

They mean a USB wireless adapter like this.

An offer of 2 for €50 isn't much good if you only want one. Chances are, most wireless adapters will work in most netcafes
