Just wondering can this be good for your back??? I leaves it in awful pain but is designed to strengthen lower back and six pack.
It supposed to be held for anything up to 2 minutes.

It's not directly for your back.

Supposed to tone up your transverse abdominals as far as I remember, which is good for the support of your back.

Anyway 2 minutes is pretty good, so you must be in fair shape.

I never get any back pain doing it !

If you tighten your stomach as you are doing it it will be more effective.

I was getting lower back pain as a result of some yoga/pilates positions. I asked the gym instructor who advised that my muscles (in my lower back) may have become inactive due to sitting down all day. I am a terrible sloucher so this would be no surprise to me.
