    ????
    What?
Blisters where? And what are you doing when you get them? If on your feet then make sure you are wearing socks and make sure you have your trainers tight...

I was told wearing two pairs of thin socks was ment to be good, never tried it though
Apparently the socks are supposed to rub against each other and stop the skin from do so.

I play basketball. Wear double socks. Have good shoes. They are tight. Not sure what else i can do on that front. Thought that there mite be some creams to stop friction. mainly get blisters just behind my big toe on the base of the foot.

As for treating the ones i have at the moment looking for a subsitute for the spray i used to use.

I think spray is only good short term.. you know it numbs the pain.
Just burst it, stick a plaster on it and you will be fine tomorrow.

got the worlds biggest blister recently on the ball of my foot...no seriously, don't even try, this thing was as big as a plate :D

My kind girlfriend took pity on me and got me this spray on gear and it was magic - toughened it right up and meant I could walk on it. Don't know the name but she didn't either and the pharmacy managed to pick it out based on what she said so give that a shot, but prevention is better than cure.

Bursting it and putting a plaster on it doesnt help. These are deep blisters. not just surface little things. the spray i had put a gel coating over them and padded them while they healed. bandage cant do that.

There is a second skin type product called 'Compeed'. Magic stuff. It sticks on over the blister, and once it is there you no longer feel the blister - nor the plaster - it is as if it never happened. The plaster falls away 3-4 days later, and the blister has healed itself.

For prevention, double-lined socks and properfitting shoes replaced regulalrly (every 300-400 miles for runners) are your only man.

I use Betadine powder pray, it comes out freezing cold. I bust the blister, cut a little hole in it, spray on the betadine and the excess skin breaks off the next day.

I used to get them alot till i bought a pair of anti blister socks in Arnotts sports dept. They are 15 yoyos a pair and do a great job. :D

Might not be what your looking for but I used to get blisters when I was playing rugby and I found that the Dr Scholl gel blister pads were excellent.

I used to put them on before a match/training and I would never feel pain.

methalyated spirits. hardens the skin so blister wont occur.
    prevention is better than cure

rub it in twice a day with a tissue. after a week your skin will be much harder and wont blister

I play indoor soccer twice a week and this time of year its sweat city.
    Sweat and friction cause blisters.
I use a pair of "trainer liners" those tiny, thin socks people weat with runners, underneath my soccer socks.
I also have a pair of double lined liners, as was said already, the idea is that the inner layer sticks to your foot and then the inner sock rubs against the outer one.

I find plasters useless as the amount of sweat involved just removes them too easily.

I found meths to be great, really done the job for me. However, for now and again I occasionally get one, i.e. if I have put in a hugh amount of miles running, compeed really do the job.
