I went back on cigs about six weeks ago before going on a three week bender where I was smoking 40 - 60 a day.

    My diet consisted of

Wake up after night on the piss, go for

    Breakfast
English Breakfast with extra sausage and bacon.

    Back to bed.

    Get up,
Go for pints, watch world cup.

    Dinner
Usually a big steak and chips, bottle of red wine.

    Go for pints
    Bed

    next day - repeat yesterday.

Towards the end we got down to one meal a day.

I came back home for a few days then went away again for four days. Repeated previous holiday.

I gave up smokes last saturday and I am back full time in the gym (some days I would go to the gym inbetween breakfast and pints while away, 5 times in three weeks to be exact.) and I am back eating healthy, but, I am absolutley shattered. Like wrecked all the time. I know my body needs to heal from the abuse I put it through (I do that once a year to relieve stress), but I have a feeling that the tiredness is smoking related. Can anyone recomend a solution to my fatigue? I was going to go get Berrocca to help get me through the few days.

I think a decent detox programme is an order! Your liver is probably damaged due to the amount of alcohol consumed and the amount of trans and saturated fats, MSG and other nasties you probably put into your system is making you feel a lot worse!
Not to mention the strain on your resporatory (sp) system.. (lungs!)

For your liver, Milk Thistle is a good cleanser.

I would also suggest you change the way you relieve stress in your life. The way you deal with it now will eventually kill you younger than you think IMO.

Relieve stress ! That's the best one I've heard all year.

The way you're going your next holier will be in Mt Jerome man!

What age are you? What are you doing to yourself? And smoking 60 fags a day? 3 weeks on the piss is not stress relief that's alcoholism. I was struggling myself with college last year and became a bit of an alco but I copped on after a bit. But a 3 week bender? I'd probably be dead after the 2nd week. I felt like getting sick reading that post, that's the truth.

Give up those fags, cut down the drink, get back in the gym every ****ing day and push it and you will soon feel better about yourself and way, way healthier.

I was reading the Examminer the other day and your diet is very similar to the sample one they gave which was in excess of 6500 calories or something like that.
