    Trying... $46K now...

At what $K can you relax and sit out? (i.e. only play AA / KK)

Well I calculated that 80k approx. would be the average with 234 left so I reckon thats a pretty safe amount. Nothing cast in stone of course.

Fourth break...26 TOP TABLES get a ticket, 79 tables left... getting close.
    Note that tables 27 & 28 (& part of 29) get W$ (money back).

Up to $58K now but blinds are HUGE. (I don't like that, give me 2 hour blinds! :D )

    You too.

Though its starting to become a crapshoot now with these blinds. Thus, anything can happen... I don't feel confident (yet).

    Jacques, what is your username?

Ok after looking, I think I found it as only galway player left, I shall be watching, best of luck

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,434 ✭✭✭cardshark202

Im envious of all those big stacks. If it wasnt for AQ v A9 I reckon I would have a huge stack. Damn three outer. :(

    LOL Smart thinking!!

Then again, most people on this poker section are...

Still on $100K. I think I may be able to fold myself into a ticket; not sure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

    I know, me is smart!

Well as I write this there are 281 players left, average stack will be 80,000 approx when bubble bursts, so yeah reckon you can fold your way to it, just don't get involved.

Good. I am really tired right now and won't be able to "play" much. Talking to HostDanM a lot just to stay awake. Very friendly chap. All-in pre-flop with AA/KK I can just about handle. lol

    Break again...32 tables left...(281 players).....

how long do u think it will take to bust the remaining 48 players? play will tighten up considerably and blinds cost 11700 a round. You can afford to fold for only 3 rounds and still be ok.. I would imagine that is not enouugh so u'll need to play a few hands. Just make sure you've got the goods!! I would probably raise only in position, and I'd avoid getting involved with any stacks larger than you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

Yep agreed, if you do have to get involved then in position and pick on midding stacks which are lower then you, big stacks and shortstacks are to be avoided!

Out of interest, how come you were playing a $6 SnG at same time!

    A J off-suit that time.

And to further answer your previous question: I am a gamer. I enjoy playing games. Money comes third. (Having fun & winning are 1st / 2nd) Therefore, the buyin does not matter all that much to me.

In real life I am about even or up a little. On-line I'm still down. :(

by my calculations you will be required to play about 40 more hands. That means 4.4 rounds. You have enough for 6 rounds. If you get a walk in the BB a few times you won't need to do much. Play is very tight now.. You should make it!! gl
