    Firstly I thought he was a gambling addict but it happened in 1 night. Greed got the better of him and stupidity also. I do feel sorry for him though because he just probably lost the run of himself a bit.

    He is the sort of person that gives gambling a bad name. Most people enjoy a bet now or then but we only hear about the people with problems.

    I also think the parents need to get their house in order with their 13cc's.:rolleyes:

    most sites ive been on have up ward deposit limit over a 24 hour or 7 day period, u can set this higher urself but it takes 24 hour to go up
    he must have lost the money over several sites or the one site with 13 accounts
    still though of all the sites ive looked at and theyre poker+casino mostly the highest weekly deposit limit ive seen is 3000.......you can raise this but u have to send off i.d. or similar


    there must have been a considerble amount of effort to get the 158k stg on in the first place

    the main danger of internet gambling i think is to those who have never encountered gambling b4, perhaps it is an advantage in this time of 24/7 gambling on tap that at some time in the past u may have blown your wage packet on horses some saturday a few years back..........gives you perspective on potential pain of the gambling bet whatever it is helps u set limits on yerself .........

    Eoghan. First of all. I am not trying to act "the hard man". I wrote what I believe. And I have no tolerance for the man. I think he deserves to be in jail.

    This is a dicussion board. I dont appreciate being called a f**ck*ng idiot for saying what I believe.
    How would you feel if a member of your family were to be addicted to alcohol or gambling......... would you dissown them as "assholes" for making "poor decisions"?

    I would if they stole £158k from me.

    And for the record I never said gambling addiction does not exist. I just disagree with its definition as a disease.
