It seems good. I was wondering about the point of eating lean protein with each meal.

For my snack meals at about 12pm and 4pm I usually eat fruit, so no protein there. Would fruit and yogurt be better.

Also what foods are high in protein that are good for snacks. Especially snacks when you're not all that hungry you're just trying to fulfill the eating every 3 hours rule.

In the context of someone that is training, lean protein with every meal would supply a constant stream of amino acids to facilitate the repair or muscular tissue and the upkeep of other bodily functions. Recovery is hugely important to any trainee, regardless of what they are training for.

In the context of a non training person, protein is still required. Lean meat offer a better source or calories ( in my opinion it should be noted ) than other macronutrients as it has less effect on insulin in the body, makes you feel fuller for longer and takes more calories to break down than carbs or fat.

Most people eat a piss poor ammount of protein.

As for the not being hungy issue, i would simple state that if your not hungry enough, your not active enough.

Yeah I know but I find it hard. My diet has improved a lot over the last 6 months, but that's one area I do find difficult. I suppose it's all about habits really. I've made other changes habit now I need to work on that one.

Also about not being hungry meaning not being active enough this is also true. Although I'm going to re-start jogging this week. I was doing well but then fell off the band wagon and decided to stay off it for a month.
