i just won a seat in the world series and now i've loads of stupid questions

    who else from here is playing the main event?

    i've played like 4 or 5 live tournaments in my life,and only 2 since i knew anything about poker

    are there any even semi deepstacked mtts coming up in ireland?

    preferably 200-1000 buyin,any more than that would be excessive
    even if there's any worth travelling to in europe,or any 1-5k buyin events that have online satellites and take place between now and the main event..

    also did anyone else win a seat through party poker?
    let me know if you did,i haven't even got an email from them yet although from reading twoplustwo this seems to be the norm

    Visit Pokerpages.com, plenty of games in the UK and the rest of europe over the next month. The only other games that I know of are the regular casino games...There might be 1 or 2 bigger MTT coming around you just need to keep an eye/ear out.

    There must be about 30 people going from this forum.

    As for playing any events between now and than, which is only 2 weeks away, why not save yourself and play a few smaller events over there for 500/1000$

    yeah Ollie's right your best bet is to play a couple of decent ones over there, look up allinvegaspoker.com and check their tourny section for a decent size buyin bellagio probably the best

    thanks all,maybe i will just go a bit early and play a few tourneys in vegas-i was thinking of looking into satelliting into the 2k holdem event starting the 21st
    i somehow missed those threads but i'll have a look now...
