hi all,
hope ye are all well.
am lookin for your help again this time to locate a hpi savage x new boyz toys are a rip off i prices the savage 25 there and in halfords and 200 in the difference!!!!:eek:

can any one point me in any direction please

Try www.towerhobbies.com you will save a lot;) They do all the good brands(most anyway). Would you not get a traxxas revo or t-maxx instead, they are cheaper and faster than the savage and will be less expensive to ship over here:)

You could get a jato 3.3 (65mph) from www.towerhobbies.com. The fastest stadium truck around and the engine is more powerful than the one in boyztoys even tho its samller.

the savage 25 is 729 new in boyz toyz and only 580 plus starter pack in halfords the savage x is a bit cheaper but impossible to get :( i rang around and got loads sayin spares are hard to get that its only e bay and recommend the traxxas and the carson the revo and stampeed??? im lost as to whats good fast lots of parts available and good back up and in stock!!!

Traxxas or HPI on Tower hobbies, they will always have spares the best of times and are the cheapest.

i got a revo 3.3 from tower hobbies and its an animal it cost me €550.00 all in
with customs charge,i got a t-maxx a few years ago in planet fun and it was way to dear,i got a traxxas 4-tec in from tower hobbies for €350.00 ,
planet fun wanted €950.00 so there ya go its cheaper from the usa.

they have all the parts in stock aswell and i think they do hpi stuff

out of the two i listed? im not sure of the price of the spectre one but the storm is 340 all in. need to mount the servos myself but everything is still included even fuel.

I am sure they will advise you in Green Model & Hobby as to what will suit your requirements best.

Best selling rc car of all time and most awards won, The T-maxx(I sound very biased:D) It even has TV adds on tele for it:eek: It can go faster than the savage and is cheaper. The savage has a lot of the ideas robbed from it anyway e.g. 8 shocks and same wheel hex and body sizes.

Two new ones coming from Carson over the summer.

Twistracer 1:10th - I was told due during August - I've seen prototypes already - built on the CS-4B chassis that the Stormracer 2 uses, but with higher shocks.

There is a new 1:8th one called Raptor. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet. If memory is good think it has a 4.4cc engine. I'm not sure if this link will still work but FWIW...

They brought that idea to Rc but they have more than 8 shocks up there sleives. The tranny on it is patented.

It doesnt take much to relise your truck is getting fat so add a couple more shocks when the idea is already out there i.e. on the real ones.

Real ones are different from the rc ones right;) You don't add more more shocks the heaver it is just add stiff springs e.g. LST:)
