Pools with Aquafit/Aqua Aerobics in Dublin

    Hi

    Am living in Dublin 12 now & working in Dublin 4. I used to live out near Monkstown so went to Aquafit classes in Monkstown swimming pool & Newpark when I was there. I've continued to go to Newpark since moving but it's an awful hassle getting home after so hoped to find something closer. There's a class in Templeogue College on Tuesday's but IMO it's not great compared to the ones I'm used to, Crumlin Swimming Pool don't do classes, Rathmines does but it's @ 9pm on Wednesdays - 8 I can live with but 9 is getting a bit late. They do a class in the Markievicz pool in town but I'd prefer to avoid going into town.

    If anyone knows of anywhere that does aquafit/aqua aerobics classes (including reasonably priced gyms - can't imagine I'd use a lot ot the other stuff in gyms), I'd be delighted to hear of them.

    BTW - has anyone heard of St. Teresa's Pool on Parnell Rd? It's listed on a couple of websites that list pools in Dublin but I can't get thru to the phone number & I've never seen anything on Parnell Rd that looks like a pool! I could ask a local I guess ;-)

    hey dude! i used to work in templeogue swimming pool! em der are 2 different classes with 2 diff teachers(or was last september) mabey you should try the other one! and there was a girl here asking about this a while ago...ill c if i can find link!

    :rolleyes: anyone kno of any pay-as-you-go aqua aerobics classes in Dublin 3 or 7 area? or even Dub 3?
