Skype relaying file transfers

Does anybody know how to stop a file being relayed when you transfer it through skype. I had it running great before but a reinstall f**ked that up. Thanks in advance

You have to open a port on your firewall. It's in the Skype FAQ somewhere, possibly to do with how to improve the sound quality.

The problem with doing this is that you risk becoming a supernode and other Skype user's traffic can be routed through your connection. Which you don't want.
