Listening to A Minor Happiness by David MacKenzie and Josh Johnston. About to start playing with differential equations that flew right over my head in the lecture today.

I need to do an essay for Transport Economics on, well, basically anything I want that's transport-related. I was thinking of doing the economic theory and public policy of integrated ticketing, but the Irish public policy for it seems to be delegation and procrastination. The economic theory of it seem fairly under-developed or at least hard to find. Anyone got any suggestions?

The Blades on myspace......great band. Pity they never made it. Paul Cleary is definitely a gifted songwriter.

Watched Dirty Harry last night too and brings back many memories of San Francisco.

My uncle used to play with The Blades, they had a brass section and he was the trombone player.

Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness. It reminds of being 12. I'm so old. Cry. Crazy, this stuff used to magnify my teenage angst and depression. Now I'm getting depressed because I no longer have teenage angst.

Speaking of which, February 9th. Damn, girl. I think that almost deserves a woo-hoo thread of its own; that is, if it weren't for Those Mean Concert Organisers.

Cowboy X - "Gabbi". Loved the song anyway, but the video is just so bizarre and amazing - love the insane 50s point-dancing at 2.20.

Waiting to watch Empire Records (once everyone else goes to bed and I can get at the DVD player) - haven't seen it in years, got the DVD cheap today. Whee!

Really? Even when you search the title with UK as a tag? Brilliant show. Must check out some clips again soon.

Ah, you're correct. Not sure what happened last night.

In other news, I felt chest pains due to laughter from watching this.

Is there anything more relaxing than Planet Earth? It's like whalesong made visible. I loooooove it......

One thing though, what's the IRC channel for TCD boards? I got through before, but my memory has sadly failed me.
