hey, im not sure if i have the term correct but over the last while i gained a little wieght. im currently 6 ft 6 and 15.5 stone i think i need to be somewhere near 15, i have gained a little fat around my waist and arms but not much, but i have red lines on my front sholders, near my armpits, like they are quite small, also same on stomach, do these go away or whats the story? i sure hope so, anyone have this problem, any solutions.
im currently hitting the gym againand losing weight, and they are turning slightly lighter, will muscle gain also make these worse though

Yes muscle gain will make them worse and yes they are stretch marks. They don't go away but they will fade and a tan can often hide them a bit. If you don't like them try cocoa butter moisturiser before training on the affected areas, it wont make the current ones go away but it will help stop any new ones.
I have loads, under my arm to my chest and to my back nearly the length of my lat and all down my bicep but the way I look at is it shows I'm growing so I like them. It's better than not growing and not having any... I'm literally bursting out of my skin!!:D

They sound like stretchmarks alright. Iv got loads of them on my chest, shoulders, lats and the whole lenght of my bicep from weightlifting. I rub cocoa butter on the area Im training beforehand and that seems to make me less prone to them. Theyll fade alot, but itll take a few years, and theyll never be completely gone unfortunately. Like Mickk said though, I view them as a reminder of how skinny I was before weightlifting as compared to how I am now, so they dont bother me much at all (of course Id prefer if I didnt have them though, lol :D )
