I would like to wish the boards.ie very own Jon all the best of luck with the opening of his new supplement shop in Phibsboro.
Jon will be carrying a good range of products from some great manufacturers, he will also be offering some incredible deals on supplements in store, ( maybe he can post some of them on here for us to view).
Anyone who regularly views these boards knows that Jon offers great advice and is one of the only supplement retailers in Dublin that actually trains and uses the products he sells.
Jon can you post up directions to the store, phone number etc.
Best of luck with your new venture and if I can be of assistance please ask!

Thats cuz he a mutant .....

"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die." - From Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I think it suits, in an odd way!!!

Now that divides up Dublin nicely. Southside pop in to Mick K for your supps, northside Jon will sort you out.
Dragan, I don't know if I should be insulted or complimented! ah what the hell i'll take it as a compliment.

<thread hijack mode> I'd like to hear more about this 260 kg for reps deadlift. What stance and grip did you use, what bodyweight were you, any training advice for improving the deadlift? Thanks :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 58 ✭✭trollybus

Hi Brian. I guess i would get about 5-6 continous reps, thats with wraps. Bodyweight where i can still lift decent poundages would vary from about 200lbs-225lbs. I've stopped doing deads continous style for the moment, now i pause the bar on the ground for 5 seconds after every rep, this reduces the weight by a few kilos but works my back and hamstrings (areas I want to improve) much better.
As for advice on increasing your deadlift, keep your torso as tight as possible and channel as much anger as possible into the lift!!
