    I am a little mixed up and need your advice....
    Which is it for bigger muscles lift a weight slowly/controlled. Or lift it fast.
    Can someone explain this for me.

    Slowly, controlled with a full range of motion and over load

    Both types of reps will hit different fibre types try so do some speed training with your normal training.
