Last 3 times i been offered some argos cats it was Traveller/Romanian/Dublin

Ask to hold the laptop and then look underneath where the manaufacturing info is and say "ahhh its from 1999" and offer him a score for it.

And if anyone finds themselves offered one in an area they know very well and manages to get their hands on the laptop and leggit i will pay your medical bills if reqd (slow people will only need them) :D

There was a guy came on posting about how he had been caught. They showed him the laptop and leaned into the car and made a switch to an identical bag filled with catalogs. He handed over in excess of 500 notes i think. And came on here complaining and wondering what he can do.

    Some crazy folk out there.

exactly, no sympathy to be honest. How could anyone think it was anything but stolen if the guy offering it to you is 1/dodgy as fook, 2/offering it in a carpark, and 3/offering it for a quarter of the retail price.
