I don't know if it's bad luck, but there's definitely a pattern developing where I get decent enough quality on Irish calls but usually bad quality on international calls. Bad meaning echo and drop-outs. I could speculate as to why this is, but I'm just curious if everyone else is seeing this pattern?

I call the UK as often as I call Ireland and there is no noticible difference in call quality. The only time I experience problems is when my internet connection is below par.

I make international calls on Blueface and had not had any problems whatsoever. However my calls usually dont last more than 2 minutes.

I find calls to the UK and Holland are better than those to Co Wexford (they use UTV if that makes a difference - I assume inbound are still basically Eircom though).

I phone South Africa almost daily, and the call quality is excellent.

I've often called the US and Finland using blueface with no problems.

However I've had a few problems calling a Spanish mobile reciently, where I could hear the person on the mobile but she couln't hear me. I don't know if this was a blueface problem or one with the mobile network at the other end (Movistar).

I used Blueface for ringing the Mrs Plisken in Spain and think she's on the Moviestar network without issue (only problem I have is rate is expensive). Sound quality is fine.

    Cheers
