    Some people swear by them

You need to get your training and diet in check before you touch them

    They are not miracle drugs...

Lipo 6 is my one of choice

but they're not magic beans...you need to train hard and eat right as well

That questions alone implies that you need to do a bit of research. I would suggest you read the stickies etc.

Just make sure your carbs are from good sources- starchy carbs like oats, grains, wholemeal bread/ pasta, brown rice and eat them earlier in the day. Keep refined sugars and 'white' carbs out and go nuts with fibrous carbs like vegetables and salads. Carbs are your primary energy source so eat them when you'll be needing that energy most (first thing in the morning, after a workout)

this might be a stupid question but do these fat burners burn fat thats already in place (eg around my considerable gut) or just burn/get rid of the fat that you consume in your diet on a day to day basis?

Em , neither really. All most of them do is up your BMR a bit, so that you are burning more calories....after that it's up to you to make sure the right thing gets burned....i.e stored fat on a carbohydrate restricted diet etc.

'fat burners' is quite a generic term for a lot of the weight-loss aids on the market. There's actually fat blockers, carb blockers, thermogenics...

but as already said, you really only see results with them if you eat really, really well in the first place. No product will help you lose a gut if you eat more calories than you burn.

Bear in mind that I took these for a week. My systolic blood pressure went from 84 to 103.
They also made me very jittery. I took Xedra cut.

    Is that bad?

    Did you stick with them?

Well 84 is a medium pressure, 95 is considered high, 103 is pretty bad apparently.

No I stopped two days ago.

I was looking at Xedra cut today. 32 euro for 100 capsules - directions state to take 3 or 4 capsules, several times a day.

    Expensive if ongoing....
