hey cause, mickk may be starting to sell weights in the comings months, he should be off to china to check the quality of stock in the next while, basically he is going to be entering the home gym sector and will probably supplying things like power cages, oly weight sets, benches etc.
So if you weren't in a rush to get the set you may want to give a pm in a couple of weeks to see if he has prices and what sort of sets he is providing and when he would have stock to sell.
It may turn out the york set is better for you but i just thought i'd let you know that there may be another vendor in the market soon, which is badly needed.

I'm building an extension and really interested in buying a power cage and an oly bench with about 250kg of weights. Won't be buying for a month or two. Has mick a site up yet?

I think VJs sell that set too. It's a York branded set and costs around 289-299 euros. You could go out to VJs and try the set there as they usually have one set up. Then decide whether and where to buy it. VJs also have an "Olympus" set for about 210-220. I have this set and see nothing wrong with it although I don't really do Oly lifts. I can't imagine that there would be a huge difference between the bar with the Olympus sest and the York set. Neither will be top quality I'd say. One thing I have noticed a little chrome falking off the sleeves off my Olympus bar when removing the spring collars.

Not yet mate I am getting it made as we speak. That is going to be exactly the type of stuff I will be selling, also rubber coated coloured oly plates with handles for the same if not less than people here sell the cast iron ones for.

Thanks jsb btw for the plug
