    Hey all, just your opinions.

Trying to get fit and have lost a good bit of weight, went running quite a bit but have slacked off, going to start again.

    Anyways question is.

I smoke and i have no real desire to give them up. But i do want to get fit, so basically my question is would seriously cutting down (1 a day) the amount i smoke seriously help my fitness or would i be wasting my time and i should look into giving them up completely ?

I was at one stage on 1 cigarette a day (during the week) but maybe i didn't stay on that long enough to notice a difference.

I don't know anyone who's successfully done that for any significant length of time.
