I might have a fitness test coming up in two weeks.
    I have to run 1.5miles in 11.5min.
Went for a run tonight(Thurs 16/06) for the first time in weeks.
I currently cant run 1.5miles, well not all at once.
Four weeks ago I could do it in 10min 13sec.

Not only do i have to be able to run the 1.5miles,
I HAVE to shave my previous time down to approx 9min.

I have no problem with pain of it i know its going to hurt but it has to be done heres my current plan

    Week 1 Began 16/06 (yesterday)

    Thurs:
    1.5mile run
    Fri:
    2.5mile jog
    Sat:
    1.5mile run
    Sun:
    2.5mile jog
    Mon:
    1.5mile run
    Tue:
    2.5mile jog
    Wed:
    Rest

    Week2

    Thur+Fri:
    1.5mile run
    Sat:
    Rest
    Sun+Mon:
    1.5mile run
    Tue:
    Rest
    Wed+Thur:
    1.5mile run
    Fri:
    Rest
    Sat:
    1.5mile run
    Sun:
    Rest

    Test on the Monday

    Any ideas sugestions

*I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE AN EXTRA WEEK TO TRAIN BUT FOR THE MOMENT IM ASSUMING IVE ONLY 2 WEEKS

OK you used run 1.5 miles in 10:13 four weeks ago and now you can't complete 1.5 miles at all in one go?

10.13 is a pretty good time. I can't see how you lost your fitness so completely in 4 weeks unless you've spent the whole time in bed.

Anyway to me your programme looks pretty good though if you can't run 1.5 miles I'm not sure how you're going to complete 2.5 miles as you intend.

I'm not sure where the 9:00 target fits into all this? This is more serious running and I think you'll probably need 3-4 months to get there.

If i want to make the cut i have to shave my time down, i figure the higher i aim the more ill take off the time......

Also the first night only strecthed out for like 10min,
tonight strecthed out for 30min before and after made a BiG difference
