I dont know if this is the right forum or not,

For the last month Ive been going to Water aerobics, on the leaflet it said bring a change of clothes so I did, on the first day I wore my swim suit under a t-shirt and my sweatpants, then the instructur said dont take off our clothes and just get into the pool!! we though she was mad! but we did.

Ive been going back and we do the same we get into the pool in our tracksuits, I was just wondering is this good exercise, whats other peoples opinions on this!

its a very good technique! when training lifegaurd over here they have to go through training and a test in clothes it increases resistance alot! get more done in a short class! more resistance means more work! meaning more cals burned meaning btr results!

I must say, after it I feel extra tired than I would when not wearing clothes in the pool!!

Its a good technique, at first I though it was a bit strange getting in the pool in our clothes!!

yeh it feels weird...but u get used to it! and it pays off! start with light clothes like a hleeveless t-shirt etc...but then try heavy clothes! or bulky clothes to increase resistance!

ur best off using baggy clothes that are dense or heavy cos they give more resistance so as u start to find ur surrent clothes east make it harder with more layers or baggy or whatever!! i used to do it in few layers...t shirts jumpers etc...and even runners! lol

I hear that for your final lesson they make you don a full suit of armour and do 50 laps of the pool.

If you make it you get free tickets to the Da Vinci Code, if you don't, well, serves you right for practising witchcraft.

Makes it sound like tickets to the DVC are a reward, which can't be right!
