I'll probably get laughed at for this one... (and it may possibly be in the wrong forum, but I dont see a more appropriate one).

So, yeah, Gymnastics is cool and all that. Does anyone know of any gymnastics clubs in Dublin (preferably North Dublin) who have adult classes? Preferably beginners?

There's no schools in the Dublin that do adult classes. I might be starting sports acro classes for adults in the near future if i can get a suitable venue so watch this space.

I did Gymnastics as a kid. While I don't want to do the kind of stuff I used to do when I was a kid. I'd love to take it up to get back some flexibility and all round fitness that I used to havefrom doing it. Stengthen up back etc.

My bum? Must mean you are talking out your ar$e. If you bothered to read their site you'd of seen that they only have senior squad training for adults, phoenix being one of the better mens teams about means you have to be damn good to get onto the squad not a beginner. I can think of one womens club that does a bit of adult training.

Great idea!I'd say you could definitely have a market for this kinda thing.I'd say the learning curve for things like paralette training and planches would be immense. What kinda stuff are you thinking of covering?

Was that addressed to me? If so this is a zombie post about two years old. I'm now living full time in London, where I have my own training facility:D and have no plans on moving back to Ireland in the near future.

There is an adults gymnastics class in Naas co. kildare which is about 20 mins drive from newlands cross, its in Panthers gymnastics details of which can be found on irishgymnastics.ie. Tuesday nights at 19:00 till 20:30 & its €6.00. But if you intend on keeping on going you will have to pay an annual fee of approx. €30 for insurance reasons. I hope this will be of some help to anyone who is looking & maybe I will see you there! :)

Is it for Women and/or Men?

    What level?

Naas is only a half an hour from Tallaght, will give it a go before I head away :)

    Cheers

I know this is the other side of the country however if folk are reading this in Galway, Renmore gymnastics club started an adult class a year ago and it's hugely popular (although attendance is sporadic because it's only on Tuesdays and adults are a little more "drop in" than kids)

    More info is on www.renmoregymnastics.org
