Right this is the actual discussion thread, the old one is obsolete now pretty much. If you have any date suggestions/ venue ideas etc etc post em up here.

The generally agreed date is the 24th June
If you can't make it on that night tell us and if we like you enough we'll change it.
No venue decided as of yet.

So who's definitely in?

24th i agree is a great date for it....

i think we should all just meet up at a certain time and venue and just start off and have a few beers and introduce ourselves and have a little chat... so that would keep us occupied for like 2 hours or so? then maybe we move on somewhere else... then at the end of a night go to a nightclub? prefibly a dance/hiphop one

Yeah, go to a pub of some sort, there was one recommended already. I'll try to dig it up.

I know Casa is gonna go, and Johnny Ultimate aswell. I think AberC is up for it, and Thrown Away just can't wait to get stuck into some Dublin pints. AberC, seeing as you're ambassador of the LC forum, I'll be disappointed if you're not there

Grumpy and maybe Shrimp may go aswell, and Helles Belles, Tripper, Funkstard , can ye all confrim anything? That's all I can remember atm, the more the merrier. I suppose bring mates aswell, why not? Just don't flood the place with a mob. The countryfolk are easily overwhelmed.

redz is alrite& 21 hs beds so 4 those dat r nt man enough 4 a full nite of partyin, they can always take a nap. lol.

can't make the 24th but you should try doyle's (not o'doyle's, no idea where that it). pub on d'olier st, beside the screen cinema and right by the nitelink it's nice.

yeah, i do like that place, its such a kip. i remember i was in there at 2 in the afternoon though and they asked me for id, when i bought some coke!!

Not a bother...i walked into whelans,the village and i think the name of the club was traffic when i was 16, me and my friend didnt look twice at us,its all in the stance and eye contact...nobody fancies goin to whelans no?

What was that hostel website again I can only book by phone do you need creditcards or can you just pay in cash. I'm booking tomorow so the 24 is definite... I'll probably end up dragging a couple of friends along

I'd throw it a week in advance tbh - there's already been a load of 18ths/Class parties in every school planned for that weekend- I know for a fact that Rios, Tram Co and XXI are all booked out for 18ths and for the underage people the bouncers in town will be on full alert that weekend. Also, I'd suggest either Bruxelles or the Turks Head, maybe even Foggy Dew - no one will take a second glance at you in their, you could nearly walk out with a bar stool.
