Green tea, cranberry juice, fibre and water should help.

I would definitely go for the cranberry juice, it is also a diuretic, combined with that I would add some tomatoes, garlic and onions to your diet. Good for detox and they break down cholesterol.

I dont think there is an fully effective way to do it yourself without seeking a course of detox therapy from a proffesional.

So long as your diet on a daily basis is healthy it will help the body function properly and it shouldn't be necessary to pursue a detoxification regimen.

Again, why would you need to to an "ongoing detox"?? I mean your liver etc is well capable of removing most of the toxins from food alcohol etc.

Bottom line, a healthy diet, plenty of fibre and protein etc and you wont need any detox diet.

Have a look at this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/healthy_living/your_weight/eatingwell_detox.shtml

What you are basically looking for then is something that keeps the system going which again jsut means adding these things to your diet. I would also try spicing up your food, that helps too.

Peppers, spring onions, leeks and cabbage are also good for a detox.
