    Hi All,

    Just wondering what your thoughts are on CURVES - (30 minute workout, all female, "gym"). I've joined one and I'm not sure if it's doing any good. I've been going for 5 weeks now and have lost 2lbs but gained 6 inches all over :( I go at least 3 times a week and am watching what I eat but it's not doing much. Or am I just being impatient? Has anybody here been to them? Im just getting a bit frustrated now.

    been so many things about curves on this site if u just do a topic search ull find millions! my general opinion on curves? its a load of crap!
    join a decent gym! its good for a person who does no exercise and will work for a few weeks but then u will out grow it!

    Thanks poobum - just searched for curves there, loads of stuff about it. Dont know why it didn't occur to me in the first place!

    I have to agree with poobum.
    It looks like a great idea, and they have great workout machines but I can't see the benefit of only spending a few minutes at each station. Not enough time to do the exercises properly to get the best workout.

    On a side note, I have lost almost 45 pounds just by walking daily (further and faster each week!) and doing aerobics at home (and watching portions, of course!). It CAN be done without spending money!
