    hi, i have a 17" lcd that is running @ 60 hertz.

while this is fine for browsing or working etc, its not great for games.

just wondering if anyone knows a way that i could increase the refresh rate?

by the way i have tried going to:

Display properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Monitor,
but the only option in the drop down menu is 60 hertz:(

    any ideas?

    cheers, KamiKazi

LCD's work very differently to CRT's. As a result the refresh rate is not as crucial. However the response time is worth looking into.
