What are the benefits/side effects of taking soomething in which this is an active ingredient?

It supposedly has quite a good fat burning effect.

What are your experiences with it. What products would you reccommend which(on the Irish market) have this as a main component?

CLA was used as a fat loss product but recently they found it is v v good at breaking down fats that block up arteries around the heart, I think that is its main use now. I have it in my shop in pure form 90 750mg caps for 29.99.

I hope I'm using the right terms here. CLA it inhibits the conversion of Tryglicerides in the bloodstream into Adipose (Fat) tissue. It will give you a small edge in reducing fat, however I woultn't class it as a fat burner. I tried GNC brand a couple of months ago. Over the period of a month I reduced my Body Fat % by 2 whilst putting on muscle. However after the CLA ran out I experienced the same BF% loss the next month.
Overall I would say that if your diet and routine is correct CLA will not aid significantly in fat loss.

Just out of curiosity is it advisable to take CLA and Lipo-6 at the same time?

A poster above mentioned fat burners: could anyone recommend some, as I don't know anything about them, but seriously need to lose some fat!

There is another thread about this, I think it's on page two. That Lipo-6 stuff is supposedly good.
