    Hey

I am looking for a decent Gym around or on Pearse Street. I am working there now so want somewhere to go in the mornings/evenings. I was in the Westwood/Clontarf before that, which was pretty good.

    Anyone have any suggestions.

    Cheers

You could try the ESB Sportsco on South Lotts Road (just before the bridge from Pearse St into Ringsend).

However, it is small and basic - it's no Westwood.

TCD have a new sports centre opening this autumn; I dunno if itll be open to non-students however. Itll be in that bldg opposite pease station. Ant TCD students here know anything more about it?

    Where on Pearse St?

There is the Marchitivch (spelt very wrong) on Townsend st, it's cheap and cheerfull. Nearby you also have Crunch (maybe Temple Bar is too far). Just across the Liffey is Sona Vitae, it's in one of the hotels in the IFSC.

I work around Pearse Street and while I used the pay-as-you-go Markevicz (spelling?)

Howeve I have recently joined the club vitae in the quality hotel on macken street... its very new and I find it great as its not too busy... but again im not a professional gym type person... may not be up to a fitness fantatics standards...
