Does anyone remember this ad on tv?
Probably about 15 years ago at this stage.

It was an adult skeleton and two child skeletons. They were singing about milk.

    They sang:
"Them bones, them bones, need calcium,
Them bones, them bones, need calcium,
Them bones, them bones, need calcium,
    And that's the natural law"

Does anyone have any idea how I can download it?
Surely there must be a copy of it somewhere?

That has to be one of the most over played ads ever on Irish TV, it was played up until a few years back.

Wasn't it an English ad? I agree it was over played but I don't think it was on Irish TV.

I'd normally recommend Commercialbreaksandbeats.co.uk but for some reason it seems to be down today... It's a great site for stuff like that... When it works.

I don't know if it was or not, was just on a site of old english ads and it wasn't there. Well I only had the two channels growing up and was always on, maybe it was originally on BBC, but it was definitely on RTE for a hell of a long time.

It was def on RTE for years, but it was dubbed so could even be german like the kinder ads.

"A grown up has about 200 bones. A child has many more, which grow into each other gradually. That's why a child needs even more calcium. And what's a natural thing for that?"

    It's a natural law, man.

Yep... it was like a giant version of one of those models that artists use to get poses right.

I always prefered the other advert for milk... "It's what Ian Rush drinks!"

Ok, maybe it first started showing 15 years ago. I remember being quite young and seeing it on tv anyway.

Flashback... and the older stick figure gives his hat to the younger stick figure... maybe i should drink more milk.

Desnt seem fair really. The US get ads with supermodels and sports stars asking if you've "Got milk?" All we get is scary half alive manniquin creatures talking about bone structure or cartoon witches who want to eat children. I'm surprised kids today arent terrified of milk.
Maybe that could be the new slogan. "Milk. Mwahahahaha"

    "Exactly!"

Make sure to sing it out loud in all public places and spread the joy. I've just been humming it in a Spar deli queue, and I'd bet there are at least 5 more people singing it now as well. ha!
