I always like to see pics like this. See the previous thread entitled "hoarding of classics in back garden".

That model of Carina wouldn't be regarded as a classic howeevr the oldest examples of this model are now 22 years old!

Ah the old Mk 4 Cortina estate - I washed a lot of those in my time in the garage (new cars came from the factory covered in the thick wax back then)

Reg no reminds me of my old Fiat 128 3P - 682 XZE

Congrats on the inheritance Adam - enjoy it. ;)

tax book yes found all papers for all the cars on th land , i m think the box is about 30years old.i have taken loads of pictures but for some reason my cam is not uploading at present time, so i will try and get these pictures on here as soon as. e-type is in great cond and is in red with a black soft-top and with black leather seats.it has been under other grown trees so that explains the cond of th jaguar. not a single bit of rust, you will love the pictures.also there is a triumph Tr7 and 911 3.2 CARRERA CABRIOLET 1984,SLATE BLUE,blue hood, blue leather interior,Triumph Spitfire MKIV
Car is a 1974 spitfire, Morris oxford MO 1953 Black ,Triumph TR3 1957
    . pictures later

.......and 25 acres of land as well?!!

Best of luck with it !

the cars are worth more than the land! The E type is probably worth mega-bucks, especially if it is irish reg'd....the logbook on the Corty could be worth €100 to the right bloke....

seems perfectly plausable to find an. e-type in great condition a triumph Tr7 and 911 3.2 CARRERA r,Triumph Spitfire , Morris oxford ,Triumph TR3.
seems less likely that someone would own all these fantastic cars, and then by an 80's Carina especially if you have an 80's Porsche lying around

    I hate liars, <edit> and I'll leave it at that :) </edit>

/edit: Roundy is now kicking himself for not quoting that post in full-in brief, the OP attempted to pass off the auction photos as his own... I just hope someone else copped it before the edit...

See it alot on other forums - lads coming on claiming to have very expensive cars/ hot girlfriends then using random pics they found on the web.

Pity - I was hoping it was true

That may be what I've been looking for, I'm gonna grow me some trees in my sisters front garden to cover the mustang, I hope she doesn't mind.

I have to admit the romantic in me was hoping that some scion of a decaying Anglo-Irish family had blown his inheritance in the 70s and 80s on fast cars, women and the roulette tables of London.
Ireland is a remarkably small country though and if a treasure trove like this existed I think one of us would know somebody who knew somebody who had seen these cars racing around a rural area back in the day....
    Prove me wrong Mr.Adam.

Speaking of inheritance did anyone hear of the guy living in some castle around Durrus or Schull in west Cork, I think he's German, who has a collection of classic cars thrown around his place and just left to rot. A few years ago I was passing through Durrus and there was a Citroen SM parked at the side of this tractor garage so I pulled in for a look, as you do, and the guy in the garage told me that the guy who owned it had loads of cars, Aston Martin's, Lagonda and even a Lamborghini! But remember this is Ireland and some people do get carried away.:) I did see the Citroen with my own eyes though. Apparently this guy with all the cars gets a million euros or something every year from his Father and spends a lot on flash cars but when they break down he just leaves them where they stop. Surely someone here on the Boards has heard of this guy if they're living around Schull or Durrus. I'd love to here more.
