Mod Replacement!

Hey folks,

Just as a heads up, there's going to be a bit of a change in personnel here. It's been decided that steph's feminine way of dealing with things doesnt really cut it on a busy board like UCD, and so she is going to be replaced.

Her replacement has been around the block a few times on boards and on the UCD board, and knows where the land lays. He has been a regular and excellent contributor to the board.

Your new mod will be........(drumroll)

Sangre!

Afaik its already been done, or is in the pipeline at least, when i was made mod it took 24 hours for all the tags to come up.

It'll happen after the exams. I had a word with sangre and he'd rather wait until then in order to give his full attention to cleaning the place up, and the admins and myself are cool with that.

Basically guys with the level of shite on the forum at the moment it was decided that a hardline approach was necessary. We went through all our options and despite his banning history Sangre was the best choice.

Actually I know this entire topic isnt open for debate and admins decision is final and posters dont have a say , I accept this but my two cents would include a hands up for irl. Sangre's posting style has changed recently (for the most part) but I always assumed , from my early encounters with him that he was a troll akin to Bubbles.

Coolas, well unfortunately the decision was made based on who we thought would be best at whipping the forum into shape.

Certain people who came up were deemed to be too soft (sorry robin! ) and as there is a prevalent 'clique' element to the forum at the moment we needed someone who wasn't involved in that.

At the end of the day Grimes, this forum is one step away from being a Cuckoo's Nest, and there have been complaints.

You all clearly don't respond to anything I have to say as mod so it was decided to bring in someone a little less leniant in terms of bannings.
