Milk and 2+ sugars depending on my mood

My option isn't there! Weak and black, thank you. Cannot stand milk in tea, it overpowers the flavour of my earl grey.

Sugar in tea is the work of satan. It's for pussys who can't appreciate the true flavour of the sacred nectar of the gods.;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,316 ✭✭✭✭the_syco

3.5 spoons of sugar, and a drop of milk, for the flavour. Has to be hot, or there's no point in drinking it, tbh.

Milk, two sugar. And only in the absence of a good strong non-instant coffee.

    Milk + 2-4 sugers, depending.

This poll is a dead dog. There is no plain black tea option and no herbal tea option. My wife drinks organic herbal chai with a spoon of honey - where does that fit on this suck-ass census - I mean wtf? I drink hot water with a slice of lemon - six mugs a day to counteract the effect of years of too much coffee - away with this 'there is either black or white and no grey' poll.

milk with 2 brown sugars, don't know if there's a difference between brown and white sugar but brown tastes nicer to me.

By us filling in this census will you be able to provide better tea making facilities in the areas that it's needed most?

I mash the tea bag around a few times and then add a good splash of milk. Last time I put sugar in my tea, I was about 7 and promptly vomited all over the place. It makes it far too sweet.

yeah true. I put a tiny bit of milk in it.

I tried it without milk, to see if I like it THAT strong, and nearly puked. Bit of milk to thicken it up ;)

I make my water boil in a kettle...

    Tea bag? Ewww...

Of course it depends on the tea what way you take it. Who could take lapsang souchong with milk and sugar? Earl Grey is nice with a teenshy tad of sugar and a touch of milk.

But tea bags. (Who *are* these people?) You can taste the paper. Dis Gust Ing.

    Iced
I don't really like hot tea. I'm a black coffee man.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,367 ✭✭✭Agamemnon

Hot, with a drop of milk and a minimum of 4 spoons of sugar. We all need a little sweetness in our lives.

very milky and sometimes its nice to crush chocolate caramel digestives into it until it becomes a sludge (that, i do very rarely) and then eat it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Flukey

I rarely drink tea, and coffee is certainly not my thing. I've never been a great one for hot drinks. But when I do have tea, it is milk and sugar with it.

Yes it was... And my answer is still the same... I take my tea with two spoonfuls of coffee, plenty of hot water and absolutely no tea.

    Depends.
    :) Flavored teas just ice.
:) Hot teas, with half-and-half and raw sugar.

Needed more choices on the poll, like couldn't vote in this one.

Tea is over rated! I don't drink it

Milk, no sugar and strong - not two bags but a decent stir and squeeze for one.

Strength should have been an option in the poll, tbh.

Tea is my favourite non-alcoholic in the whole world, ever!

I take it with 2-3 sugars and milk. Fav brands our Barry's and Twining's English Breakfast tea

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

i dont drink tea. i find it repulsive

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 122 ✭✭Vulpiner

Tes one of the greatest drinks known to man (or woman) So many types. So refreshing. My favourites would be Twinngs green tea and Lyons pyrimid bag. I guess its the novelty of the latter that decides the latter.

I only drink it with sugar when sick and usually drink it with milk. Loose tea gives a much stronger brew and I drink that STRONG!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,165 ✭✭✭DEmeant0r

I also love Iced tea, so gooooooooood!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,406 ✭✭✭Pompey Magnus

I drink a little tea with my milk. My poor mouth can't stand very hot tea.
