Ok well over the last few months I've been doing a bit of lifestyle changing. One of my next steps is to a certain level of fitness and develope the type of figure I want too.

I am looking for some gym recomendations in the Blanchardstown area. I'm not from there but I do start a new job out there this week. I intend to have a look a the gyms out there and compare them to my own area and see which would be better to go to.

    Cheers for any help.

You could always try Westpoint at the blanch Shopping Centre €325 a year. Check it out, if you don't like it then there's the one in the Aquatic centre but I wouldn't be paying out money there at the moment until all the legal issues and court cases are sorted out! I think there's one down by the roundabout towards the M 50 but forget what it's called.

Aquatic centre is a rip off.

West point is a good gym to get started in, no serious lifters in it as the weights only go up to 30kg dumbells.

Total Fitness is the one down at the M50 roundabout. There's also crunch fitness on the back roads to lucan, that might be handy for you if your driving that way

I train at Westpoint at the shopping centre. Theres really good equiptment there and the place is always tidy and in good order, but it does get very very crowded at times and (although theres a fair few big fellas there) its mostly full of 'casual lifters' or people starting out.

Im joined the National Aquatic Centre last Dec and i love it. For 425 euro for the year i can use the gym, the pool, the waterpark and all the cardio/fitness classes.

I usually go on the way home from work but the opening hours are quiet good. 6.30 to 10pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday.
