Thats not just cruel, thats plain wrong! I saw that on google videos the other day, said something to the effect that it was the kid's own father who setup this prank - sorry to sound all boring and all, but he should be put away for that - he has no idea how thats going to effect the kid for rest of his life. Don't take my word for it - ask an expert, or just google!

Maybe I'm a sap but I dont find that funny. I can never understand why people laugh at other peoples mis-fortunes.

    Poor kid.

This is a bit like what happenned the other day. I have a 5 year old who is terrified of dogs. When she was one the neighbours pup got through the fence and jumped up on her. He was only trying to give her a lick but she's been scared of dogs ever since.

The other day she was out the front playing when all of a sudden I heard her screaming. She came running into the house screaming. Hot on her heels was a little silky terrier. The dog was just playing chasy but she was really freaked.

I caught the dog and took him outside where some little pr!ck about 16 years old was standing there laughing. I could have knocked the head off his shoulders.

The kid in that video is clearly terrified. How is that funny?

It's funny because he's clearly terrified. I can't help it if I laugh, its just so darn funny!

Well here's hoping he can make a full recovery and can even manage a laugh or two at the video himself in years to come.

Chugger = Charity Mugger..the kind that bombard you on the street with their clip boards, asking:

Something is funny usually because it shocks people. I have to admit I laughed pretty hard at the video but felt bad about it.

If it was my child that it happened to I wouldnt be happy at all. But sitting hear detached watching it I did find it funny. The idea his own dad did it is a bit sick.

If you watch the end, it seems like it made him blind too.. he doesn't open his eyes whatsoever.

The first time I saw this I thought, "that's one heckuva amount of emotional baggage"

No, no what you should have knocked the head off his shoulders and laughed at him.

As for the vid, dam rm net manger is blocking it for BAH!

Well, generally speaking, other people's misfortunes can be hillarious at times. But honestly, I cannot see how this vid is funny at all.

I don't find that at all funny. It's a bit twisted I think to laugh at it, and the guy who filmed it. :/

That really brightened up my day :)

That is so amazing. So cruel, but that is outweighed by the comic value.

That has to be up there in terms of comedy terror with the guy asleep on the bus who wakes up when all his friends scream and he looks like he is afraid for his life. I'm sure some have you have seen it before.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,863 ✭✭✭✭crosstownk

It's certainly funny but I can see the kids distress too. It happened so make what you like of it - looking at and laughing or crying won't change the fact that it happened.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 865 ✭✭✭Simon201

The kid's reaction is kinda funny but at the end you can see how old he really is and it does seem a bit cruel. The daughter saw that 'what's wrong with this picture' thing when she was about 9. Now she's 13 and still freaks out if I suggest she watches that 'Classic Auto' ad.

Oh man, that got me laughing. The slapping of the screen was also funny. Most people I've played that for usually only jump, but thats priceless.

    ****in hilarious

I remember when I was caught out by one of them things. I had to look closely at the screen to find seomone in a picture. I had the sound up and everything, it gave me a ****in **** attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,252 ✭✭✭Funkstard

I felt bad for the kid when I first saw it too when I paused to try and stop laughing. Apparently he saw the funny side of it a few hours later.

This flashbox literally had me in tears...I still piss myself everytime I watch it. It's probably old, well it is old because it's a clip from 'catchphrase', but I mean old in the context of the nerds here who have apparently seen every single popular video on the internet....anyway just watch it!

^^^lol that was funny Funkstard never saw it before

Ah yeah I remember it well;), hadn't seen it in ages though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,322 ✭✭✭Maccattack

Its bad enough that it was the kids father who did it to him. But for him to then post it on the net. Thats another thing all together.

'Look world. Im an ar$3 to my kid and now i want to humiliate him by showing you all how scared he was'.

In years to come he'll be known as the kid who had that video of him posted on the net where he nearly wet hoimself with fear.

Indefensible in my opinion. and not in the least bit funny.
