    This isn't a troll.
I get bad flatulence, I mean real bad. Only when I'm on protein powders though. I know some people who have the same problem. My farts are unbelievable though, they would make your eyes water and singe the nostril hairs outta yer head. Any remedies at all out there? And yeah, I do go toiley every day.
Maybe this should be on personal issues forum!!

    Have you tried changing brands?

I used to use Casalin, and found the same problem although there didn't smell that bad they are just very regular. I changed to Instant Whey, sorry I can't remeber who makes it but I bought it in Workout World on Bachelors Walk, I've no problem with the protein I am using now.

I reckon its to do with how you mix your protein (drawing in air to the shake) and how quickly you drink it (gulping down more air). Some shakes just taste rotten for example cyclone (and I know its expensive Dragan but I got a deal on a 4 pack and still have 2 full drums of the rotten stuff) you just have to force it down you as quick as you can.

Nothing to back this up but I think if you taking carbs along with the shake helps settle the stomach a bit and reduce some of the some offensive wind.

Accept it as a necessary evil:o

Cyclone:An area of low atmospheric pressure characterized by rotating and converging winds and ascending air.

Sounds like it does what it says on the tin!

Very, very unlikely. This might cause mild burping, but not farting. That is more likely to be a mild lactose intolerance. Does the protein powder you use contains large amounts of casein? Do you mix it with milk? If so, you might have a lactose intolerance problem. Probably quite mild if all you get is gas.
