    Hi,

Has anybody bought a pair of MBT trainers or boots? What do you think of them?

    Thanks

    Thanks Reyman,

Was interested to know how long they last for as I was just about to buy a pair a few days ago but got concerend when salesperson started talking about replacing the soles for €50  , and there seemed to be a whole load of stuff you had to be really careful about; just wanna put them on and go!

I'm not an expert on MBT, but I'd imagine there's the usual money making hype around this theory so 'move' with care

Yep, am thinking I might 'move' to another type of trainer!

What's up with your feet anyway?

Nothing wrong with feet, but a few friends have bought them and they're supposed to aid in toning up the body as you are using muscles you would not normally be using , was just looking for a really good pair of trainers to go walking/running in. I sometimes find it difficult getting womens' trainers in my size, 8. Usually find trainers I like stop at a size 7, what's that all about? I know a few girls with my size. Maybe we're not supposed to wear anything, or we should stay indoors and not be seen with our abnormal-sized plates!

There was another post on trainers a week or two back.

Best shoe seems to be the Asics Kayano - but pricey

Or the Asics 2110 a good shoe and more reasonable

Have seen asics featured alot, especially in magazines, will keep an eye out for them.

trainers are a very personal thing. I pound out some serious miles and Asic's don't work for me at all. You need to get a runner that fits your degree of protonation and has the correct level of cushioning. An expert should be able to help you out but unfortunately the sports shops in this country do not appear to train their staff adequately.
