Hi, Was part of a gym for a month a couple of weeks ago but time contraints mean that if I want to tone up somewhat for the next few months it will have to be with dumbbells that I have for now.

I'm male, 20. 182cm and 65kg. The weights are 2X2.5kg each which is plenty for me for now.

I'm a complete beginner to this so I'm just wondering what sort of routine I should be doing? I suppose I mainly want to focus on my arms and my chest.

Like how much more? In the gym I was only ever lifting 15kg max. I'm really not very strong.

Tbh if your gonna workout from home you'd be better looking up bodyweight conditioning and ignoring those dumb bells, you'll get a superior workout. and also don't just workout your arms and chest.

Yeah that's what I figured but they're my housemates weights and I'm too much of a pov to buy my own. I wasn't looking for a major workout, just something to tie me over until I can get back to the gym.

If you're in pretty poor shape it might be better staying away from weights till you build up some basic strength.

How about concentrating on own body exercises such as pull ups and press-ups to begin with. If you're very weak you really you really don't need weights to get good basic strength gains.

After a couple of months you can move on to more serious training
