  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭shoutman

Good Idea, We should get one of the mods to start a new sticky though so it is just profiles and nothing else.

It was started by Dev before
Kinda died off. Im sure he could/should restart it on Antes up so as not to add another sticky on here

    Poker Paddies

I think the "confirmation" photo might be even more embarrassing, paul :) I would like a photo gallery, only between I'm contantly being told 'ah you know who fixer/ianmc38/etc is, you sat beside them last week', and I can never remember what they look like!

I've been trying to figure out who Ian is, since we both play the SE a lot. I have a feeling you were playing the cash game last night, sitting in seat 8?

You posted this a day too late. I said "hello smurph" to who i thought must be you last night in Drogheda seeing Mike was calling out to Collette for a bb seat change. I got a perplexed look back. I said "You are Collette yeah aka smuprh?". "NO" she said!.

Some great nicknames in those Drogheda games. 'Hedge' 'Papa' 'Junior' etc etc!.

Heh, what table? Perhaps it was your stack I was eyeing up at around 5. am wondering if there was any value when the final cash table would be merged? :)

Cream t-shirt at the end of the table?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,754 ✭✭✭ianmc38

    Fixer what is your name?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 555 ✭✭✭fixer

I didn't sit down at the cash table last night. Final table of the 75dc finished around 2 (made a bad 3 way deal, took 2nd) and went home straight away.

Name is Robert Smith. big American guy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,754 ✭✭✭ianmc38

I usually play Tues-Fri one tourney and 2 or 3 cash games. Now if we had a pic sticky then id know you straight away :)

I see who you are, I was wearing the green wooly Jumper to the left of the Dealer on the 1st cash table...

Causing a big hulabaloo at the table because I made it 85 to go PF with KK on the button, to which I was barraged with an onslaught of verbal abuse...

Flop KQQ, AQ paid me off and the river came KING!

Never do deals in the SE tournies fixer you never feel good about it after. At least you made a few quid anyway.

How did De Deraco finish up?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 441 ✭✭De Deraco

finished 10th no joy never got the double up, pushed on the bb flop of 889 rainbow with 76, was called by the cl with K5 and the sb with 8J, turn Q river 9.

he called my 4k bet on the flop then another 9k on the turn chasing a back door flush which he hit on the river. only the 9 gave the sb a house too, he celebrated then banged the table really hard when he realised classic meant i left with a little smile.
ok sorry no more off topic posts.
here here when are we getting this sticky.

What we need is someone in a Fitz tourney with a camera. Ask the boardies to clean themselves (for once) and call over before the tourney to be clicked.

I met TrueDub last night. He introduced himself with "I'm TrueDub, what's your name on boards?" :)

To be 100% accurate, I said "You're a boardster, aren't you? Which one?", then introduced myself. 5StarPool had pointed you out to me before, so I knew I wasn't going to be greeted with a blank look and a "what are you on about?"...:)

Not surprised Smurph. You generally need more snow than that for skiing :D:p
