Cross Trainer for home use - to buy or not to buy?

    Hi there,

I've been considering getting a cross trainer and would like some advice.

I work long hours + commute a long distance, so going regularly to a gym is pretty much out of the question.

In order to see a benefit in weight / general fitness, how much time would I need to spend using it, and at what intervals (ie every day, every 2nd day + so on).

Also if I was to spend approx €300 - €500 on such a trainer, what should I be looking out for in terms of features? Are there any brands or suppliers to avoid, or to recommend?

    Cheers
    Clanc
