Watched Naked Gun recently and thought to myself that Frank Drebin would give Homer Simpson a run for his money in the Cult Hero stakes, equally as funny and around longer...

    Kryton from Red Dwarf
Kryton: Sir, they clearly have a technology far greater than our own.
Lister: So do the Albanian State Washing Machine Company.
Rimmer: Alright Kryton, step up to red alert!
Kryton: Are you sure Sir? It does mean changing the bulb.

    Classic Dwarf! :D

Blackadder: The girl is wetter than a haddock's bathing costume

Blackadder (to Baldrick): If you were to serve up one of your meals in Staff HQ, you would be arrested for the greatest mass poisoning since Lucretia Borgia invited 500 of her close friends round for a wine and anthrax party

    legend

    My favourite blackadder quote:
Captain Blackadder: You see, Baldrick, in order to prevent war two great super-armies developed. Us, the Russians and the French on one side, Germany and Austro-Hungary on the other. The idea being that each army would act as the other's deterrent. That way, there could never be a war.
Private Baldrick: Except, this is sort of a war, isn't it?
Captain Blackadder: That's right. There was one tiny flaw in the plan.
Lieutenant George: O, what was that?
    Captain Blackadder: It was bollocks.

Ah so many memories of Bottom, Red Dwarf, The Young Ones, BlackAdder :D
Kryten: They've taken Mr. Rimmer. Sir, they've taken Mr. Rimmer.
The Cat: Quick, let's get out of here before they bring him back.
Lister: At the same time, you're talking about a man who in the first sign of danger runs to the back room and cowers underneath the scanning table.
Ace Rimmer: Skipper, you can't judge a book by its cover.
Lister: And you can't confuse Rimmer with a book. For a start, a book's got a spine.

    Stewie Griffin
    Karl Pilkington is my hero.

    The man is a legend:
"You'll never see an old person eating a Twix"
Karl once mentions 'footage' exists of cave-men wearing underwear, also called "bear pants"
If we didn't invent the aeroplane "we'd probably have grown wings by now".
Karl's parenting advice is to "sort of look after it [the child], feed it, make sure it's got shoes and that, but let it roam about".
He would be able to know if anyone was a nudist, because if they were going on holiday, they would not have much luggage.
Karl believes that because jellyfish are 97% water, we should "give 'em another three percent and make 'em water - it's more useful".

True. This is a prime thread for debate. I'll attempt to get the ball rolling:

Whoever voted Homer Simpson is an idiot. Karl Pilkington, Kramer or Father Ted ftw. Most others are rubbish.

HOmer simpson would of won it hands down if they stopped making the simpsons after season 6. Now he shouldnt even be in that list.

WHat the hell is bender doing in there aswell? And Armerican Dad, get out.

John cleese is a leged. Honourable mentions to red dwarf, blackadder, Del boy and faulty towers, The Office. Brass Eye deserves a special mention, unreal. Never laughed so much in all my life.

Nah, he just isn't a hero.

I'd go for Peter Griffin. Just because he's so sure of himself, even though he's an absolute dcikhead.
