I'm thinking of doing a cutting phase over the next fortnight. I've done it before (not looking forward to it!).

I just wanted feedback what kinds of foods do you eat/avoid if you're doing a cutting phase? For example, do you avoid fruit (due to sugar content?). Do you drink less/more water than normal? Do you eat no carbs (or just alot less than normal)?

For weights, do you still go heavy, or do you move into more circuit training and/or high reps? Do you do more cardio than normal?

    Any tips appreciated....

    Im currently on a cut:

    Some tips for you:

Keep your weight session as normal (no longer than 1 hour)
Add in am cardio for the best results using L-Glutamine to stop yourself going catabolic
Eat every 3 hours (this is so important)
Plenty of fruit and veg throughout the day (not before bed)
4 litres of water a day
Carbs to a minimum..eg..breakfast/post and pre workout..
EFA'S.. do not ignore your essential fats - fish oils, seeds nuts etc.. very important

2 weeks cutting.. is not very long to yeild good results im my opinion.. you shud be aiming to loose around 2lbs a week.. any more than this could be catabolic... you wanna hold on to that hard earned muscle;)
