Quadrant shower Tray size

    Folks.

How is a quadrant shower tray measured?

I've paid for the trays in a new build to be upgraded from the standard 800mm to 900mm. I went onsite yesterday and they seemed small so I measured them and from the corner to the edge, along the wall, was just over 860mm so they're not the 800mm trays but neither are they 900mm as there is no way that tiles+adhesive is ~40mm is there?

The builder says they are 900mm and that they should be measured at the widest part (i.e. the center to the middle of the rounded edge. Now the trays are wider when measured so they're not a perfect 1/4 circle.

I'd just like clarification before I follow up.

I found this which seems to back up my view on measuring.

    Many Thanks,

    Jerh.
