I am temping as an admin assistant for now, although I just got offered a permenent position here in events dept, so I am gonna stick around for a bit.

In the interview they asked me what I saw myself doing in 5 years time, I couldn't answer that question.

5 years ago I though I would be managing a radio station by now, I actually really thought it was possible, and If you had told me I would have been an admin temp I would have laughed, funny how things work out.

when i say builders, i mean building contractors. most of them are the type of people who live to moan about others not working hard enough. they don't see the irony in the fact that they spend most of their time giving out to other people. a lot of them also are very bad with mopney and it can be hard to get paid off them. these are mostly small timne contractors and not big businesses. i do work for one small contractor from time to time and it's actually a pleasure to work for him. then again, he's not some random joe soap who got into the building trade last week because there is money in it. this guy actually knows what he is doing.

I work weekends in a cash office preparing till floats, banking the takings, balancing vouchers, maintaining change levels, investigating descrepancies. From time to time I help out on the shop floor at customer services, which is a nightmare.

I'm an Operations Agent in a medium sized betting exchange... I basically manage event markets for punters to have a bet on - how do I do this? I watch the events as they happen. It's a pretty cool job, who doesn't want to get paid to watch Ireland beat Sweden 3-0 but it can get a bit high pressured when there's lots of money at stake. Ah well, it's keeping me in cash for now.
