Popcorn as a snack?

I totally abandoned popcorn last year cause my gym instructor told me it was one of the worst things I could be eating, along with corn flakes and sweet corn.

But I'm just after coming across it under a list of 'healthy snacks'.

    Any opinions?

Obviously, I'd be going for the salt-reduced packs. And avoiding it in cinemas.

popcorn id natural and is not one of the most unhealthy things you cud eat but i wudnt eat too much of it as im sure its probly full of additives or salt but im not sure.

Most instructors in gyms these days did a silly little course that hardly qualifies them as experts in my opinion

its not the worst thing to eat. better than chocolate and crisps. not as good as fruit or veg sticks. and like you said, avoid the cinema stuff like the plague. treat it as a once in a while thing, not a daily staple.

Would say the same as Daveirl, it’s absolutely fine.

Make your own at home, mix it with
    - spicy version with e.g. chilly pepper
    - sweet one with honey, bit messy so…
    - tiny pieces of garlic and herbs
    - a bit of grated cheese and herbs ….

just try out a few new things, worked out fine for me..
